The app guides you through the entire process. It's also simple to use and set up. Its ability to restart where it left off in our tests is another impressive feature. It was able to do this for 77 minutes on one cleaning, before the battery ran out.
The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums that we tested has a self emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris into an external dirt compartment located on the base of its charging once it is fully filled. This reduces hands-on maintenance and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it must be manually cleaned after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dust bin can hold 2.4L of debris and is enough to last five or four cleaning sessions before you need to replace it.
The i3+ EVO, just like the i7, uses cutting-edge floor-tracking sensors that create maps. It also allows you to navigate through neat rows. The only issue is that it's a little louder than other models we test and it doesn't do similarly in our user satisfaction and predicted reliability tests.
The Q5 Pro has a very large dust bin that is 770ml, which means you won't need to empty it as often as other 2-in-1 robots. The Q5 Pro's 240-minute running time is also a lot when compared to other 2-in-1 robots we have tested. If the battery is low, it returns automatically to its dock where it recharges and then resumes cleaning from where it left off. The iMop awed us with its navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations, and it was very efficient in getting around obstacles, such as furniture. It can also find its way to the base station in case it is unable to recharge its batteries during an exercise of cleaning.
It also comes with a spot cleaning mode that lets you to mop or clean a specific area of your floor. It can also be programmed to follow a fixed route, which is helpful if you have narrow hallways or stairs. In our carpet cleaning test, it was successful in cleaning carpets. However, it was unable to clean carpets and rugs with thick piles. It can be set up to lift the mop pad automatically when it comes into contact with carpet. This is an excellent feature for those who want to not have to mop their carpets.
